Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine awarded five scholarships from their Bako Medical Education Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund during the 2021-22 academic year.
The College of Podiatric Medicine faculty selected five students to each receive a $1,000 scholarship, including, Savannah Santiago, Harsh Varshney, Michael Guzzardo, Lindsey Bustos and Dy Chin. The awards are presented to second, third and fourth year students who set themselves apart by working to advance their career and the podiatric profession.
The Bako Medical Education Foundation (BMEF) Endowed Scholarship is presented annually to students.
